Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

Progressly is an application for keeping one daily commitment visible. This policy describes the information the application handles and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

When you create an account, Progressly stores your email address, a password digest, your identity statement, daily action, optional behavioural anchor, and preferred time zone. The application also stores your daily Yes or No responses, the dates they relate to, and timestamps needed to provide the service.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate you, show your commitment on the Today screen, calculate local calendar dates, preserve your progress history, and understand basic product events such as sign-in, Today views, settings changes, and check-ins. We also use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate use of the site. Progressly does not use third-party advertising.

Storage and security

Account and product data is stored in the application’s database. Passwords are stored as one-way digests, not readable passwords. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Cookies and browser storage

Progressly uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. The installable web app may also use browser cache storage for its offline shell. These features are necessary for the service and are not used to follow you across other sites.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and commitment history while your account is active. To request deletion or ask a privacy question, contact the person or organisation operating your Progressly deployment using its published support address.

Changes

This policy may change as the product develops. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new update date.
